The Golf
Old Course
1907 This magnificent parkland course, designed by Willie Park has a great variety of mature trees. Interesting features on the course include 'Dick Turpin's Cottage which lies between the 14th and 15th fairways, and 'The King's House' to the right of the 10th, which was presented to King George V in 1935 and was later occupied by Lord Trenchard. Full fairway, tee and greens irrigation ensures a top class course, whatever season.
The New Course
Designed by Simon Gidman this remarkable championship course measures some 6940 yards and has a par 72. It features two lakes, and burns run throughout the course. The tasting 18th, sponsored by Lanson champagne, is a superb way to end a round of golf. This par three over the River Mole into a two tier green in front of the terrace is enough to give any golfer butterflies.
