The Golf

The course was built on land provided by four Liphook landowners in 1922 and has matured into one of the finest heathland courses in southern England.  Liphook is relatively short, measuring less than 6,200 yards with a lowly par of 69.  The heather, pine and birch place a premium of being on line rather than length and the sandy ground is wonderfully undulating with natural depressions and elevations.  The course starts with an unusual par 3 hole measuring 202 yards and the fifth is a picturesque hole with its big golden bunker and stream.
