The Golf
There are two courses at Mannings Heath, the Waterfall and Kingfisher. Both courses were developed generations apart and have very different playing characteristics and challenges and together they offer a real choice of golfing experience and enjoyment. Both set in mature woodlands, the rolling Sussex Downs create a beautiful and relaxing setting.
Waterfall Course
An 18 hole par 73 course established in 1905 and set in mature woodland with stunning tree lined fairways and streams. It is considered to be one of the finest and most challenging in the South of England and has many feature holesĀ including the famous punchbowl and waterfall holes. At only 6412 yards, it can be considered not that long, but the undulating fairways and cleverly placed hazards make it more than a challenge for the average golfer.
Kingfisher Course
This 18 hole par 70 course is also set in mature woodland but the rolling hills are its unique feature. Designed by David Williams and opened in 1996, after a full maturation period, all the greens and tees are constructed to modern USGA
