Guaranteed Tee Times

The Links Trust at St Andrews, who are responsible for the famous public links courses, have full control of tee-time reservations for all the links - including the Old Course.

The vast majority of Old Course tee times are allocated to operators similar to TaylorAlison Golf on a trade basis, we are then able to pass the times on to you.

As you will be guaranteed a tee-time on the Old Course, it is the more expensive option.

The Ballot System

Every morning throughout the season, a draw is made confirming all Old Course tee times for the day. Golfers are able to leave their details each evening in the hope of being drawn the next day. The quieter it is, the more chance you have of being drawn.

TaylorAlison Golf are able to move tee reservations at all local clubs in order to accommodate your Old Course tee time when selected. Your TA Golf rep will put your names in the draw each evening, and with a smile, try and get you a tee time!

This is certainly the most cost effective way of playing the old course, however if you are staying for only a short period of time, we would suggest securing your times.
